Serving the Peninsula since 1955.
Our studios are located near Christopher Newport University in the heart of Newport News VA. Classes are offered for children, teens and adults, pre-school through professional.
The studios are home to the Tidewater Dance Theater, Inc. (TDT), a contemporary, ballet and theatrical dance company. As a non-profit organization TDT is dedicated to providing dance creation, education, and performance experience to local dancers. Many original works have been presented ranging from large theatrical works to smaller more intimate creations. Chartered in 1973, TDT continues to provide a venue for the arts in the Tidewater area.
