What to Wear

Our dance floors are sprung hardwood floors. No streets shoes are allowed.

Hip Hop: Wear comfortable loose-fitting clothes you can move in. T-shirts, tanks, sweats, yoga pants etc. No jeans nor t-shirts with offensive slogans. Sneakers or dance sneakers. No street shoes allowed; be sure to reserve a pair of sneakers just for dance. No toning shoes (no compensated or rounded soles). No black-soled shoes that would mark the floor. Soft knee-pads recommended. Wide wrist bands (optional but recommended).

Contemporary Dance Forms: Any color leotard, any style. Convertible tights. Modern shoes and bare feet.

Musical Theater: Black jazz pants, T-shirt, jazz shoes, ballet shoes or dance sneakers. No street shoes allowed.

Jazz Dance: Any color leotard, any style. Jazz pants or dance shorts. Tights. Jazz Shoes, style according to level. Please inquire when signing up.

Tap Classes: Most of our children and teen tap classes follow another class. Youngest students wear same as class before or after. Older students may change or add jazz pants or dance shorts. Tap shoes, style according to level. Please inquire when you sign up.

Adult Tap Classes: Adults wear comfortable clothing you can move in such as T-shirts, tanks, sweats, dance pants, yoga pants etc... Tights or socks. Tap shoes.

Boys Tap: T-shirt, shorts or sweats, black tap shoes.

Baton Classes: Leotard or close fitting T-shirt. Shorts or Tights. White Keds Tennis Shoes or Tan Jazz Shoes.

Highland Dance: Leotard, any color, any style, Tights.
