Musical Theater / Broadway Dance
Musical Theater / Broadway Dance classes are offered to children and teens age 7 and up with private coaching available by appointment for all ages. Students learn scenes from Broadway musicals along with the various elements of performing in musicals to include dance, acting and singing.
AUDITION SKILLS: Students will also learn how to prepare and audition for roles in musical theater on the local level as well as the professional stage for those actively preparing for a theater career.
Excellent for dancers who want to learn to act or sing; Singers and actors who need to learn to move or simply add more dynamic movement and expression into their stage performances.
Students have the opportunity to perform for various events if scheduled throughout the season and in our end of year recital usually held at Thomas Nelson College.
